Due to the recent announcements to introduce measures to contain the spread of
Coronavirus, and after extensive consultation with the WINA & INA Boards, a decision
has been made to postpone the 2020 Junior World Series Tournament.
Our proposed postponed dates suitable to all countries participating are – 3rd January
to 10th January 2021 . These dates may change if the situation escalates.
Players who were selected to participate at the event in July 2020 will be eligible to
participate in the postponed tournament in January 2021.
This decision has not been taken lightly, especially knowing the amount of preparation
by athletes, coaches, officials and administration that has gone into this event, however
the safety and wellbeing of all our participants is paramount.
INA will be monitoring the situation and reviewing on a regular basis.
